MILAN’s Princess (7-4 favourite) posted her Maiden success in a 1200m contest on the inside track at Turffontein on Saturday, ridden by her regular partner, Matthew Thackeray.
She’s been a consistent and capable earner, the R15,000 paid for her at the Klawervlei Farm already five times recovered in just five starts.
“I like the progeny of Captain Of All, they’ve been good to the stable and I will continue to support him and the sale,” said Corne Spies.
He added: “Milan’s Princess has speed and she is decent, I think she can go on and win again.”
The filly is owned in partnership by Corne Spies Racing, Willem Benade, Xander Spies, Tyrone Zackey, Chantelle and Dhiresh Dasrath, all of whom have enjoyed an exciting spell with the stable recently.
“I am thankful to our patrons, their support is appreciated,” Corne said.
